About Us

Samaritan Help Mission (SHM) is a Voluntary, not for profit organization based in Tikipara slum of Howrah (West Bengal) in India.
Samaritan Help Mission was established in 2001 and is committed to work for the emancipation and empowerment of poor children of the area who previously have been involved in various nefarious activities and local women who lack opportunities to join the main stream of life through education and vocational training livelihood.
To provide developmental opportunities to the poor and needy slum children with emphasis on young girls.

INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT: We believe in localised solutions, that is, employing and resources that are not benefitted from privilege and are in need of a platform.
